What to do if you are the one being raided
-
Don't open the door: You are not required to open your door to agents unless they have a valid, judicial warrant.
-
Request a warrant: If agents claim to have a warrant, ask them to slide it under the door for you to inspect. A valid warrant must be signed by a judge and list your correct address.
-
Stay silent: You have the right to remain silent. Do not answer questions or provide any documents.
-
Stay calm: Do not run, argue, or resist, even if you believe your rights are being violated.
-
If asked to leave: You can ask if you are free to leave. If they say no, you must stay. If they say yes, walk away calmly.
-
Document everything: If you are being detained, document the interaction, including the officers' badge numbers.
-
Stay on the scene if you can: If you are detained, stay on the scene until you are able to get in touch with your lawyer. (from Google)

Social Security - Protect Your Asset$

In February 2025, an expert on the Social Security Administration (SSA) was the guest on one of the news shows. Her final comment was to tell the audience to immediately get paper copies of their SSA records. After the commercial, she was gone. In
In April, the lightbulb lit. The woman was warning us that the SSA electronic files may be dumped, and we might have to justify our request for reinstatement of our accounts.
For those of us yet to retire, we needed a PAPER copy of our CONTRIBUTIONS.
For those of us drawing on OUR Social Security, we needed to have a paper copy of both our Contributions and our Distribution--what we had received from our investment.

The expert's advice in February may prove unnecessary, like the concerns around the 2000 calendar change over from 1999.
On the other hand, this may be useful advice. Remember the adage that if you need it, have it. If you have it and don't need it, that's okay, too.
The Social Security Administration's Customer Service phone number is 1 (800) 772-1213, but double-check that. If you call, have a friend with a second phone nearby. If it seems like you'll never get through, stay on that line and have your friend phone in on the other phone--like the website, the phone waiting system seems to have a lot of dead-ends. Ask for the HELP Desk. The actual people there are wonderful.

The following PDF outlines the steps in finding your Contributions and Distributions so you can make a paper copy. This may seem jaded, but the SSA's online system was not available in November, 2025.
When retracing the steps in November 2025, logging into the online material was not available. The website recommends using the automated system. If possible, go for a person either by phone or at your local Social Security Administration office.
FlashMob - Really?

Actually, it's FlashMob for Rallies! While most of the early No Kings rallies have been peaceful with minimal clashes with the military or police, the past may not predict the future. The following PDF includes a tactic (based on flashmob) that may assist in further postponing confrontations.
